The day is really overcast & threatening rain, so just went over to Radford Park & Lake for a few shots. After spending an hour & a half wandering about taking pictures (I've put a few in the Gallery in 'Places' in which the 1st picture is also of Radford, but taken on a very old auto everything compact camera) I have to say it feels quite nice though that shutter/mirror noise is still too intrusive for my liking. I also don't like the way the pop-up flash violently springs up, but at least its higher so my wide angle lens hood won't cast a shadow as with the 10D. As to the pictures, well I don't think they look as good as they would have if been taken on the 10D, but the 40D is very new to me so I perhaps have to fine-tune it?
Born in 1956 (so getting on a bit now) I'm married and have two wonderful children we all live in Devon in the South West of England - on the Cornish border.
